Negative taken for November 29, 1957, Arkansas Gazette article "McKamie Plant Turns 'Sour Gas' Into Sweet Profit," 12A:4. The McKamie Gas Cleaning Company on the McKamie-Patton Field in Lafayette County, Arkansas, processes natural gasoline, iso-butane, normal butane and propane. It also extracts liquid sulfur from 'sour' gas and pressurizes the remainder of the 'sour' gas back into the ground in order to push more gas up to the surface. Unidentified workers checking gauges.
